Are you a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? A secondary school in Farnborough is seeking a specialist teacher to deliver Woodwork and Resistant Materials lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 from January 2026 to Easter 2026.
This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to apply your subject expertise and hands-on skills in a practical, creative learning environment. You will be responsible for planning, marking, tutor group, and school duties, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and develop their technical and creative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Woodwork and Resistant Materials lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to engage students and support progress
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
* Support a tutor group and contribute to school duties
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialist knowledge in Design and Technology, Woodwork, and Resistant Materials
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Ability to motivate students and develop practical, hands-on learning
* Experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable
