Job Purpose Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to carry out mechanical maintenance activities within a 24-hour fused minerals processing environment. The role involves ensuring plant reliability, supporting safe operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the site. Key Responsibilities Work under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor to complete assigned maintenance tasks promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance data, including input and output logs. Evaluate equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements. Adhere to all safety procedures, permits, and company policies. Immediately report unsafe activities or conditions to the Line Supervisor. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area at all times. Required Skills & Experience Experience working within a maintenance environment, ideally in heavy industry or manufacturing.
