This is a great opportunity to join one of Scotland’s long-established and well-respected law firms. They’ve been advising clients across Scotland on private client matters for many years and have built a strong reputation for the quality of their work and the service they provide.
You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive Private Client team, managing your own caseload while playing an important part in the continued success of the department.
I'mlooking for someone with at least 6 years’ experience in private client law who is comfortable dealing with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executries, Estate Planning and matters relating to Older People Care Costs.
Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who is approachable and empathetic, with strong communication skills and the ability to put clients at ease while explaining things clearly and simply.
You’ll also be commercially aware, motivated to meet and exceed fee-earning targets, and focused on delivering the best possible service for your clients. An interest in getting involved in business development and helping the team work more efficiently would also be welcomed.
In return, the firm offers excellent long-term career prospects, a competitive salary of up to £80,000 (depending on experience), and a performance-related bonus.
The role is office based. Thereis some flexibility and, after an initial settling-in period, there may be the option towork from home occasionally.
STEP qualified candidates would be particularly welcome, but if you’re not yet qualified the firm will support you in working towards it.
