Overview
The successful applicant will be responsible for the leadership of a multiskilled sales team of Sales Executives, a Digital Solutions Engineer and a Sales Specialist through customer value solution-based sales strategies. The role mandates defining and achieving order targets concerning value, units, profitability, and value-added services within the London & South regional business unit. The candidate will lead by example, developing key customer relationships and maximizing profitable growth through new and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer relationship management: Accountable for developing KONE’s position and customer base in the market, driving proactive engagement and solution selling with different customer segments, ensuring customer loyalty and satisfaction, and supporting account management strategies by building relationships with key decision makers and new targets. Promote and demonstrate the value of KONE digital offering.
* Plan sales, manage pricing and offering: Responsible for Regional and Individual Sales Plans, participating in market and customer analysis, pricing and offering management to drive profitability, balancing order growth and discounts, collecting competitor and market intelligence, and identifying cross-selling opportunities across all KONE solutions.
* Manage Sales Funnel: Lead the sell process, maintain CRM data quality, manage opportunity reporting, ensure results within orders, contracts and profitability, set sales targets in line with market potential, and steer the team using data-driven customer analysis. Execute and advise pricing guidelines, and utilize global processes for local benefit.
* Leadership / People management: Lead the sales team toward proactive customer engagement, apply KONE solution selling methodology, coach team members, manage performance, ensure resources for targets, develop competencies, motivate the team, ensure onboarding experience, and plan succession.
Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience managing a sales team.
* Collaborative working mindset.
* Industry, engineering, construction, or technical background desirable.
* Strong team management and influencing skills in a matrix organisation.
* Customer-focused, understanding customers’ needs and providing solutions for short and long-term objectives.
* Capable of working effectively in a complex, diverse, changing environment.
* Effective written, verbal and presentational communication skills.
* Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM experience.
