£12.60 to £12.80 per hour - dependent on qualifications and experience - 38 hours per week.

We will pay you £250 when you complete your shadow shifts and another £250 after 3 months (paid in the next payroll).

Role Overview:
Due to expansion, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. You will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, helping them lead active, socially valued, and fulfilling lives. You will work closely with each individual, tailoring support to their unique needs and aspirations.
About Awel Y Mor:
Situated near Saundersfoot harbour, Awel y Mor is a welcoming home for up to three adults aged 18 and over. This spacious residence features three double bedrooms, communal lounges, a modern kitchen, and a tranquil landscaped garden. It feels like a family home, balancing learning, leisure, and life skills. Our team works closely with each individual to ensure they feel happy and supported.
A typical day may include:
* Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with autism.
* Assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal prep, and household tasks.
* Encouraging participation in community activities like swimming and bowling.
* Developing positive relationships with individuals, families, and stakeholders.
* Monitoring and recording progress, following care plans.
* Supporting individuals in achieving personal goals and developing skills.
* Promoting a safe, nurturing environment for well-being.
We are looking for people who:
* Have a compassionate, caring nature and a desire to make a positive impact.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Are resilient and patient, adaptable to individual needs.
* Are willing to learn and follow guidance.
* Have basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
* Are flexible to work shifts, including weekends and nights.
* Must have a driver’s license.
This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
