Overview
BD & Marketing Recruitment - Professional Services Sector — Senior Communications/PR Specialist (or PR Specialist) for a client in London. This role blends traditional PR with the development and delivery of firmwide content-driven campaigns, at the intersection of PR, thought leadership, and strategic marketing. You will work with the Assistant Director of Communications and the Marketing & BD team, taking ownership of PR for specific practice areas and helping shape high‑profile campaigns on topics such as M&A landscapes, digital payments, and ESG. You’ll collaborate with senior partners, US colleagues, PR agencies across Europe, and internal teams to bring campaigns from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the firm’s visibility and reputation.
* Build and manage relationships with media contacts, stakeholders, and senior partners.
* Secure media coverage and facilitate interviews, articles, and features.
* Prepare spokespeople for media engagement and draft talking points.
* Shape and support strategic campaigns, including topic selection, data points, content planning, and execution, coordinating with agencies and internal teams.
* Collaborate with events, BD, and design teams to ensure campaigns reach and engage the right audiences.
* Track, analyse, and report on PR and campaign effectiveness.

* Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of delivering impactful PR and campaigns.
* Creative thinker with experience in delivering PR and campaigns that resonate.
* Familiarity with the legal marketplace or professional services (law/accountancy).
* Excellent organisational and project management skills; ability to deliver from start to finish.
* Confident copywriter and editor across media announcements, thought leadership, and social content.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
* Minimum of three years’ PR experience — preferably in a law firm, professional services, PR agency, or journalism.
* Experience working on integrated campaigns, or a strong appetite to broaden into this area.
