Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with well-established and inclusive secondary schools in Ruislip to recruit professional and organised Student Services Assistants. These are full-time, long-term positions (Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm) offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of school operations while supporting students and staff.
Role Overview
The Student Services Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the school and providing high-quality support to students, staff, and visitors. You will be a key point of contact for the school community, helping to maintain a welcoming, organised, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the pastoral and student services teams.
Manage attendance records, student enquiries, and school data systems accurately and efficiently.
Assist with student welfare, pastoral guidance, and follow-up support where required.
Support school events, assemblies, and daily routines to ensure smooth operations.
Act as a professional first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors.
Maintain confidentiality and support safeguarding procedures at all times.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
