Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner
Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a role that combines end-to-end management accounts with real finance business partnering ?
This is a broad, hands-on role within a medium to large business, offering ownership of monthly management accounts alongside budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis and systems improvement projects.
Working as part of a small finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll partner closely with operational and senior stakeholders, helping them understand performance, challenge results and support decision-making.
The Role
Full end-to-end preparation of management accounts
Month end close including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Business partnering with operational teams
Development of MI and reporting
Support for year-end audit and ad-hoc projects
Involvement in systems implementation and improvements
About You
Proven management accounts experience (essential)
Background in a medium to large organisation
Comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders
Systems implementation experience highly desirable
Ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, but strong QBE candidates will be considered
