Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a variety of GCSE Tutors and subject specialists in the Weymouth area to provide tailored support to young people in the lead-up to their exams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives.
Location: Weymouth and surrounding areas
Subjects Needed: Maths, English, Science (other subjects also welcome)
Hours: Flexible - from 2 to 15 hours per week per learner
Start Date: Immediate opportunities availableTutors often work with multiple learners, allowing for part-time or full-time hours depending on your availability.
About you:
Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Maths, English, or Science
Experience working with young people in an educational setting
Ability to tailor sessions to individual learner needs
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

As a Tutor, you will:
Deliver high-quality, personalised tuition sessions to GCSE learners in Maths, English, Science, or other subjects.
Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and well-paced lessons tailored to individual learning styles and academic needs.
Support learners in building confidence, subject knowledge, and exam readiness.
Uphold safeguarding standards and promote the welfare of young people at all times.Position -GCSE Tutor

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
Experience of working with the GCSE curriculum
Experience of working with learners with SEN/ SEMH needsTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
