We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Manager to take overall responsibility for the safety and operational performance of asphalt plants in the Liverpool and Wrexham area. Key Responsibilities Line management of on-site Plant Supervisors, providing leadership, support, and clear direction Full responsibility for budgets and P&L management, including cost control and financial performance Month-end P&L reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis Experience running projects, including planning, delivery, and performance monitoring Involvement in capital expenditure applications, justification, and delivery of approved projects Ensure all operations are run in line with HSEQ policies and guidance Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance, promoting a positive safety culture Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings, performance reviews, and development discussions Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to supervisory and operational teams Ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met Coordinate maintenance planning to ensure plant reliability and uptime Ensure adequate resourcing, shift cover, and operational continuity across both sites Liaise with senior management, internal stakeholders, and external contractors Drive continuous improvement, efficiency gains, and best practice across both operations Visually seen onsite, VFL's and interaction. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise It is essential that you have proven previous experience in a similar role within an asphalt, quarrying, or heavy materials processing environment. Driving licence.
