We're looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Operative to join our team in Ashley Green, Buckinghamshire!
Position: Yard Operative
Location: Ashley Green, Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: Temporary (3 - 4 months)
Working Pattern: Full Time (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break)Key Responsibilities:
Order Picking & Loading: Accurately pick products from picking notes and load customers' vehicles using manual handling and forklifts. 🚚
Customer Service: Provide professional and friendly assistance to customers with their purchases. 😊
Stock Management: Unload deliveries, properly place stock, and maintain stock rotation. 📦
Housekeeping & Safety: Keep the yard clean and organised, following 5S principles and safety practises. 🧹
Forklift Operation: Conduct forklift checks and operate safely. ⚠️
Liaison: Communicate effectively with sales staff and customers to ensure smooth operations. 🗣️What We're Looking For:
Strong timekeeping skills and reliability. ⏰
A friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a tidy work space.
Willingness to learn and adhere to safety guidelines.
Previous experience in a warehouse or yard environment is a plus, but not essential.
