We are working with reputable firms requiring short-term and ongoing cover for criminal defence matters, including police station attendance and Magistrates’ Court representation.

You will provide high-quality legal representation across a range of criminal matters, including:

Police station attendance

Magistrates’ Court advocacy
*
Case preparation and file review
*
Client consultations
*
Duty solicitor cover (where applicable)
Assignments range from ad hoc cover to longer-term placements.
âś… Requirements
*
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive (England & Wales)
*
Valid practising certificate
*
Criminal law experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
*
Police Station Accreditation (desirable)
*
Duty Solicitor status (advantageous but not essential)
*
Strong advocacy and client care skills
*
Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively
