About the role
As a Support Worker, you will work directly with people in their homes and in the community. You will be expected to support people with a variety of needs, enabling them to live the lives they want.
Duties will include:
* Building great relationships with people we support and the people important to their lives
* Promoting choice and participation when supporting people with daily tasks
* Co-creating opportunities for people to try new things and offering information to support people to make their own choices
* Offering personalised support by working with people’s strength to build their confidence and overcome obstacles with the aim of achieving their goals
* Encouraging people to participate in activities that bring them joy and meaning
About you

To be a Support Worker at Certitude, it is essential you:
* Can motivate others and build their confidence to try new things, meet new people and achieve what they want to achieve
* Are practical and organised
* Are able to make and maintain great relationships and support others to develop their own relationships
* Can use a range of standard and non-standard technology, such as the internet, emails, databases, Microsoft Office applications, a smart phone / iPad
You will be given training, development and coaching to help you feel confident in providing great support and to help you advance in your career.
