Overview
We are looking for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker to contribute to the assessment, implementation and delivery of high quality individualised patient care within a professional team, and to support the development and monitoring of evidence‑based practice and health and social care programmes.
Responsibilities
* Assess and support patients' care needs.
* Contribute to the delivery and improvement of individualised patient care.
* Participate in the development and monitoring of agreed evidence‑based practice and health and social care programmes.
* Support the clinical governance of the service.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject; alternatively suitable for an apprenticeship to obtain a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.
* Commitment to learning and development, with around 20% of working hours dedicated to training or study.
Apprenticeship
This role offers an apprenticeship with regular training delivered through a college or training organisation. Successful completion leads to a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification.
