Covering a large and commercially important territory including the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Mid & South Wales, Gloucestershire, and Somerset, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. There is also potential for international travel as the role develops. As Area Sales Manager, you will take ownership of your region, delivering against sales targets while building long-term partnerships with customers. Key responsibilities include: Executing regional sales plans to achieve and exceed targets Building strong, lasting customer relationships across your territory Identifying and converting new business opportunities Using data and insights to support commercial decision-making and sales growth Managing customer agreements including pricing, distribution, and incentives Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy Maintaining accurate pipeline, reporting, and customer records Collaborating closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, and customer service Supporting product launches and driving distribution across accounts Representing the business at trade shows and industry events Experience: Essential: Proven experience in a field sales / area sales manager role Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong relationship-building and communication skills Commercially minded with the ability to use data to influence decisions Highly self-motivated and proactive Full UK driving licence Desirable: Experience working with partnership or loyalty programmes Exposure to joint business planning Degree Formal sales training
