Regional Administrator Full time – Monday to Friday 9-5pm Permanent 33 days holiday Hybrid working available Dovehaven Care Group are a family owned and family run business established for over 30 years. With 21 care homes in our portfolio, we are a growing group with fantastic opportunities available. We are currently recruiting for an exciting new role to the business a Senior Administrator/Team Leader to support a region of homes based in Liverpool, Preston, Southport, Greater Manchester, Wigan, and Accrington. The role is to Provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to the homes and the regional manager as well as supporting a team of approximately 7 administrators. This an excellent opportunity that offers a varied and busy workload with no two days the same and will involve travelling to the various homes in the region on a regular basis so the right candidate will need to be a driver with their own vehicle (mileage allowance). Duties: · To analyse and report service data and information to the regional managers · To support service development and other project work · Complete staff PDR’s and 6 monthly reviews · On-going 1:1 support along with audits for administrative staff · Managing annual leave and attendance of administrators · Cover admin support in the absence of an administrator · Minute taking for various meetings including disciplinaries · Take an active part in the set-up of new services from an administrative view with direction from management, investigating options as instructed for service development. · Communicate with senior management over any concerns with the quality of data and produce action plans to resolve such problems · To organise and provide support to meetings disseminate outcomes to the relevant teams and follow up action points. · Ensure that information reported is accurate, timely and to the required standard. · Take responsibility for ensuring staff adhere to and actively engage with the agreed process around admin management. · To ensure an effective and efficient electronic filing and data retrieval system for tracking workflow and retrieving archives are in place in order to support the governance function. · To manage and motivate support staff within the relevant team including mentoring and day to day supervision. · To communicate and liaise effectively & confidently with internal and external contacts at all levels and from a wide range of settings/sectors, to handle enquiries independently · Readily use theoretical and practical knowledge to think, gain and share information, solve problems and make decisions and Implement solutions. · To ensure that a high quality and timely support is provided (utilising relevant Microsoft Office packages) when producing correspondence, reports, e-mails, presentations, project plans and spread sheets. Skills and Experience: Excellent communication and administration skills include systems data input, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel Effective organisational skills Strong team player Flexibility to respond to multiple priorities Adaptable when dealing with different homes and managers Driver with own vehicle Experience in a similar role managing staff Experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential If you feel you would be suitable for this role, we would love to hear from you.
