Job Title: Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk (2–3 Months) Location: Bridgend Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with 30 mins lunch break (some flexibility for the right candidate) Rate: Competitive hourly rate of up to £14.50 per hour plus holiday pay About the Role: Môrwell Talent Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an SME business in Bridgend who is seeking a proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their small, friendly finance team on a temporary basis for 2–3 months. This role is focused on clearing a backlog of ledger invoices, checking for errors, and ensuring all entries are accurately recorded in the system. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to hit the ground running, so experience with Xero is essential. There is potential for this temporary role to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Process and clear backlog of purchase ledger invoices. Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies or errors. Accurately input data into Xero accounting software. Maintain organised records and filing for audit purposes. Collaborate with a small team to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. Strong Xero experience is essential. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and adaptable, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
