This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and inspiring children in Key Stage 1or 2, helping them to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Your responsibilities will include: supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and creative learning activities in line with the National curriculum fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential providing support for pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development both in and out of the classroom assisting with observations, assessments, and record-keeping to monitor children’s progress and attainment promoting independence, resilience, and confidence through high-quality learning experiences working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to meet each child’s individual needs upholding the school’s values, behaviour expectations, and safeguarding policies at all times. You will have: a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development in Key Stage 1 or 2 excellent communication and interpersonal skills a positive team player with the ability to take initiative and adapt when needed a patient, kind, and flexible approach to working with children a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable experience working within a primary school or KS1 setting is advantageous but not essential.
