We are actively seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team to provide essential care and support to a 5-year-old girl with complex clinical needs within the comfort of her family home environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Paediatric Complex Carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to a young child with a genetic epilepsy syndrome, global developmental delay, and additional complex clinical needs. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
* Providing continuous overnight monitoring and support.
* Managing and responding to seizures appropriately.
* Supporting ventilation care.
* Managing NJ/NG feeding tubes.
* Observing and recording vital signs and overall wellbeing.
* Supporting with repositioning and comfort during the night.
* Escalating any clinical concerns promptly.
* Working in partnership with the family and wider healthcare team.
* Delivering high-quality person-centred care within a home care setting.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication at all times.
Key Job Requirements
To be considered for the role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
* Previous experience in complex care and/or community care.
* Experience supporting children with complex medical needs.
* Knowledge or experience of epilepsy and seizure management.
* Understanding of ventilation support.
* Experience with NJ/NG tube feeding.
* Comfortable working independently on night shifts.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
