We have partnered with an established real estate investment and property management firm to recruit a Property Administrator on a 24‑month contract. Based in Surrey, BC, this role supports a high profile, mixed-use portfolio of approximately 1.5 million sq. ft., including a regional shopping centre, a university campus, and a premier office tower. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administrator seeking hands-on exposure within a collaborativemercial property management team.
Your new role
1. Support the day-to-day administration of contracts and operational documentation, with a primary focus on contract coordination and operational support.
2. Prepare, track, and coordinate operational agreements including telmunications, parking licences, storage agreements, and short‑term tenancy and licence agreements.
3. Monitor key contract and lease dates, issuing advance renewal reminders as required.
4. Maintain accurate, well organized electronic and hard copy contract and lease files.
5. Prepare and process purchase orders and assist with contract-related financial tracking.
6. Upload and monitor monthly maintenance reports, vendor documentation, andpliance updates, including RiskCheck reporting.
7. Oversee preventative maintenance and work order modules within Angus.
8. Track vendor certifications, training requirements, and insurance documentation.
9. Order operational supplies and coordinate uniforms for Operations staff.
10. Respond to leasing inquiries and maintain lease tracking systems.
11. Provide administrative support to the Operations and Leasing teams, including scheduling, reporting, meeting coordination, property tours, and general office support.
12. Assist Property Management with additional administrative tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
13. 2 years’ experience in amercial property administration role.
14. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage contracts, documentation, and key dates accurately.
15. Highly organized andfortable juggling multiple contracts, vendor files, and maintenance workflows.
16. Confident working with property management systems, particularly Angus.
17. Proactive, resourceful, and able tomunicate clearly with internal teams and external service providers.
18. Exposure tomercial lease administration and property operations, with the ability to build effective working relationships across Operations and Leasing.
What you'll get in return
19. $60,000–$68,000 plus a 5% annual bonus
