Overview
The Quality Assurance Advisor is responsible for supporting the Quality Pharmacist in reaching and maintaining the highest standards of quality in pharmacy operations and in managing quality assurance processes. The role requires excellent attention to detail and a proactive and problem-solving approach to work activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Support quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including ISO, MHRA, and GPhC requirements.
* Provide administrative support to the Quality Pharmacist to allow for robust document, SOP and Policy management.
* Play an active role in the internal audit programme under the supervision of the Quality Pharmacist.
* Support external audits and inspections by collating requested documents and data.
* Utilise the SOP Smart system to ensure SOPs and Policies are launched effectively across all staff.
* Create reports to support management in addressing areas of regulatory non compliance.
* Support with the collation of QA KPI data as required by the Quality Pharmacist.
* Support and guide operational staff in the completion of Quality processes such as Change Control, Deviations, Incidents and Corrective and Preventative Actions.
* Work in collaboration with the pharmacovigilance and training leads to ensure a seamless approach to Quality related processes.
* Utilise existing technology to implement Quality Assurance processes and support in the evolution of these system to ensure continuous improvement.

* Competent knowledge of Microsoft office including, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* Maintain a proactive and enthusiastic approach to the role
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience in the area of Quality Assurance
* Previous experience in a Pharmacy environment
* Experience in the use of SharePoint
* Knowledge of the MHRA, GPhC regulations
* Understanding of ISO 9001 requirements
