Ob description:
That Dog Guy is a friendly, skilled team of trainers, behaviourists, and assistants, dedicated to providing the highest standard of reward based dog training and walking services in Hammersmith and Chiswick, West London. We offer group walks in country parks, one-to-one training walks, behaviour consultations, puppy training and more.
We're now looking for another qualified Behaviourist or Dog Trainer to join us from March 2025.
Overview
Monday to Friday, between 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM.
Weekend and Evening work available if you want.
Must drive.
The Role
A Mixture of Training / Behaviour consultations with clients (If qualified) and Group Walks.
We work on the basis of 'with you all the way.' What this means is the work will typically start with:
puppy training or behaviour consults with the client.
2.) For the times owners cannot execute the plan themselves or just want extra input or time off, we provide 121 training walks/ sessions.
3.) In most scenarios we are looking to graduate the dogs onto group walks, so their needs can be met affordably for the owners. Therefore, when the time is right, you would choose dogs you know from group walks, use them as 'stooge' dogs and build your training/ behaviour client into groups.
4.) In the latter stages you would be, being paid for your training walk as well as the group you take out.
Of course some dogs requirements will not involve groups and you would stick with stages 1 and 2.
Who We're Looking For
We're a team who help and support each other and get involve in all aspects of a dogs care and welfare. We're the team who 'go the extra mile' with all the little things, to go beyond expectation for our clients and do right by our dogs. We aim to be the Michelin star of dog services. Reliability and the motivation to strive to always improve on what we are doing is key.
Also....
If you have experience with exotic birds we have a client who may like help with these when you go to do their dogs.
