Companionship Carer – Ottery St Mary Our client is looking for a warm, compassionate individual to join their team as a Companionship Carer, supporting a kind-hearted gentleman living with paranoid schizophrenia. If you enjoy meaningful conversations, peaceful walks outdoors, and helping someone feel more confident and connected to the world around them, this could be the perfect role for you. About the Role: Full-time or Part time hours available Every other weekend required Daily dog walks – must be happy and confident around dogs Driving to local appointments and outings Offering gentle structure, motivation, and reassurance Focus on emotional support, companionship, and confidence-building No personal care involved Opportunity to pick up additional hours through our client’s wider services This role is ideal for someone who values routine, enjoys fresh air and good company, and wants to make a genuine difference in someone’s life – not just through practical help, but by being a steady, friendly presence.
