We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children as they begin their educational journey.
EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Nelson
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS provision.
- Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote learning through play.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments and planning.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery).
- Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant).
- Is patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about early childhood development.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
