We are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Hortsorth. The salary for this position is £26,000 per annum.
Let's talk about the role. It involves:
* Processing supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring they are correctly coded within the Finance system.
* Preparing weekly supplier payments against the supplier accounts.
* Communicating with suppliers regarding invoice or payment queries.
* Investigating and resolving outstanding supplier items, including debit balances.
* Complying with all relevant financial policies and procedures.
* Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts on the system, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
* Reconciling and allocating all outstanding items on the supplier ledgers.
* Ensuring prompt management of the Accounts Payable team inbox.
* Providing cover for other team members during absences.
* Preparing, posting, and reconciling all company credit card transactions.
* Performing any other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager.
