CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer, on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer of Scientific Instruments, on a permanent basis.
The main product groups that will be supported in this position are Chromatography (GC, GC/MS, LC, LC/MS) and Material Characterisation (FTIR, UV/Vis and Thermal Analysis).
This position is Field Based M4 Corridor position, and the successful candidate will be based in the Reading, Oxford, or Banbury areas.
About the role:
Your responsibilities will include:
* Perform field service as advised by the call dispatch staff/system in conjunction with the Team Leader, carrying our repairs, preventative maintenance, qualifications, and installation.
* Provide onsite user training on defined product groups
* Maintains personal service spares issued and inventory records to the highest standard
* Able to promote/sell instruments and service products including consumables and service contracts
About you:
To be considered for the role, you will have the following skills and experience:
* HND or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Science, Biotechnology or similar discipline.
* An understanding of analytical techniques and instrumentation as well awareness of instrument applications a benefit.
* Experience of working in GMP environments preferred
* Full Driving License.
