Hours: 37 hours per week
Hybrid (3 days in the office)
Are you a detail-oriented Payroll professional looking to join a thriving, large-scale organisation? Our client-a well-established, nationally recognised business headquartered in Watford-is seeking a skilled and motivated Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic HR & Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process monthly payroll for high-volume employees
* Maintain payroll records and update employee data in HR & payroll systems
* Handle payroll queries and provide clear, timely responses to employees and managers
* Administer statutory payments including SMP, SSP, and SPP
* Support year-end processes, including P60s and P11Ds
* Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies as required
* Contribute to internal payroll audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Payroll Administrator or similar role
* Solid knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory deductions
* Proficient in payroll system SAP
* Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* CIPP qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
