This Position reports to:
Material Planning Team Leader
In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase goods from internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers according to the delivery schedule, transportation mode, price, special requirements, and terms and conditions. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities are aligned with company purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by handling urgent situations to ensure timely deliveries.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
This is a hybrid role working from our Stonehouse site, with 1 day a week working from home.
* Releasing purchase requisitions and initiating purchase orders in the system, aligning them with customer requirements (based on ERP and standard operation procedures) and as per the release strategy and table of authorities.
* Monitoring suppliers’ order acknowledgments and dispatch advice, along with the inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation processes.
* Tracking the purchase orders backlog and performing regular expending activities with internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers to ensure customer on-time delivery.
* Minimizing the late backlog by proactively identifying root causes and implementing recovery plans; and tracking goods received at the warehouse to verify appropriate delivery and ensures invoice processing and high customer service level.
Qualifications for the Role
* Purchasing / Planning experience in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP)
* Proficient in Excel
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization Internally & Externally.
* Mindset to innovate, take ownership, drive improvement
