The Role:
· Cleansing operative required for general manual handling duties within the Councils HRC sites
· The post holder will be required for refuse collection and street cleansing duties
· The post holder will need to be flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs and requirements of the organisation
Hours of work: 37hrs per week over 6 days
Requirements:
1. Previous experience of performing manual work such as labouring/waste collection/street cleansing
2. Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
3. Knowledge of waste reception, removal, storage and sorting
4. Knowledge and understanding of route plans and maps and the ability to undertake basic calculations
Rate of Pay: £ p/hr
