Job overview
We are seeking a highly skilled renal dietitian to lead our renal dietetic service. You will be responsible for developing and managing the service, providing expert clinical care, and leading on staff development and service improvement.
The role includes deputising for the Renal Multi Professional Service Lead and overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
Main duties
* Provide leadership and supervision to renal dietitians
* Inspire and motivate the team to improve service quality
* Deliver clinical services to renal patients, especially those with complex needs
* Develop policies, protocols, and guidelines
* Lead education and training for renal staff
* Monitor service performance and patient feedback

Person specification
Qualifications
* BSc or PgD in Nutrition and Dietetics
* Current HPC registration
* Membership of BDA or equivalent
* Specialist training and MSc or equivalent
Experience
* Experience in renal dietetics and multidisciplinary teams
* Supporting learning and supervising staff
* Service development and research dissemination
Skills and qualities
* Accurate anthropometry skills
* Effective communication and behavioural techniques
* Autonomous working with critical judgment
* IT skills
