Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £35k + Training & Benefits
About the role
Due to recent expansion, this leading name within the Water Treatment / Hygiene industry is seeking a hardworking Water Treatment Engineer to cover contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland. This company are highly respected and provide their staff with comprehensive training to ensure engineers have a diverse skillset. Candidates will need experience in undertaking a variety of ACOP L8 compliance tasks across a range of client premises and will be expected to hit the ground running. Salaries are competitive and benefits include: overtime, pension and company vehicle.
Experience / Qualifications
* Experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer within a well-established company
* Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
* Will have worked across a range of client premises
* Ideally will have undertaken industry-related training courses, including: Cleans and Disinfections and TMVs
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Comfortable using IT software to complete reports
The Role
* Travelling across commercial, local authority, domestic and public sector client sites to complete ACOP L8 compliance tasks
* Showerhead descales
* TMV servicing
* Cleans and disinfections on Cooling Towers and Cold Water Storage Tanks
* Closed system sampling and dosing
* Water sampling
* Temperature monitoring
* Keeping accurate records of works undertaken
* Working to set targets and deadlines
