Overview
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants are sought for mainstream secondary schools and SEN schools across Bolton. Roles can be short-term or long-term.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs (SEN), including SEMH needs, in mainstream environments and in SEN settings.
* Support within school-based SEN hubs or alternative provision units as required.
* Help pupils with SEN to achieve their full potential by contributing to an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
* A UK Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a curriculum-related subject.
* Previous experience supporting students with SEND (in school, care, or youth settings).
* A DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Two years of referenceable experience.
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in students’ lives.
