Job summary
We are looking for a friendly and experienced Receptionist to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Ealing. Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for female service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate specialist wards. This is a 37.5-hour contract per week working Monday to Friday. The working hours are as follows: 8am - 4:00pm (these hours are non-negotiable).
Main duties of the job
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to process information quickly in a calm and controlled manner at all times is essential. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, well-presented, with a friendly disposition, excellent communication skills, and at least 1 year of experience working as a Receptionist in a healthcare setting with excellent customer care skills. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

Job responsibilities
* Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience
* Greet visitors and notify the appropriate staff of their arrival
* Ensure visitors sign in and out, and record patients leaving and returning appropriately
* Answer and transfer all incoming calls, taking messages as needed
* Sort and distribute post, and assist with general office duties
* Keep the reception area clean and tidy
* Promote safety and security of all site users and ensure staff comply with security protocols

* An experienced receptionist with at least 1 year of experience
* Organised, helpful, and good at multitasking
* Computer literate, including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook
* Knowledgeable of telephone systems
* Polite, friendly, approachable, with excellent communication skills
* GCSE Maths and English qualified, with good numeracy and literacy
* Diligent, accurate, with an understanding of confidentiality
