Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) based in Ripley. As a Quantity Surveyor, the individual will be responsible for preparing budgets, costing, and estimates, managing financial data, and liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities also include handling project contracts, monitoring costs throughout projects, conducting valuations, and preparing reports to ensure project profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong skills in cost control, budgeting, and financial management
Proficiency in contract management and negotiation
Ability to prepare estimates, valuations, and financial reports
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and team collaboration skills
Proficient in relevant software and systems used in quantity surveying
Understanding of construction methodologies and practices related to flooring is desirable
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
Previous experience in construction or flooring industry is advantageous
