I am looking for an experienced and motivated Service Engineer to join a growing Customer Care Team. With a rapidly expanding customer base and increasing demand for customised machinery, this role offers the chance to work on advanced equipment, travel across the UK and overseas, and deliver exceptional technical support.
What You’ll Do
* Install, commission, service, and upgrade machinery at customer sites
* Provide breakdown response, fault-finding, and reliable solutions
* Support customers with software debugging, programming, and production line integrations
* Deliver remote diagnostics, telephone, and email support
* Collaborate with Service & Spares teams to manage customer enquiries and technical support
* Complete in-house test plans, validation, and quality documentation
* Work with design and build teams to resolve technical challenges
What We’re Looking For
Essential skills & experience:
* Recognised qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Control Engineering (BTEC HNC or equivalent)
* Mechanical/electrical engineering background
* Electrical certification for 3-phase installations
* 5+ years’ experience in machinery servicing & fault finding
* Siemens or Allen Bradley programming (basic, 2+ years)
* Strong problem-solving ability and communication skills
* Valid passport, willingness to travel (UK & overseas)
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, chartered or working towards chartership
* Experience with packaging machinery or production line commissioning
* Knowledge of line validation and validation documentation
