The Vacancy
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Section Manager / Assistant Site Manager to join our team delivering planned works across a variety of packages including Kitchens & Bathrooms, Roofing, and Windows & Doors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected social housing client in Bloxwhich, contributing to the improvement of homes and communities.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple planned work packages.
2. Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
3. Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to maintain programme targets.
4. Liaise with residents and client representatives to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
5. Monitor health & safety compliance and maintain site documentation.
6. Support the Site Manager and Project Manager in reporting and delivery.
🧰 Requirements:
7. Proven experience in managing planned works, ideally in social housing.
8. Strong knowledge of K&Bs, roofing, and window/door installations.
9. SMSTS or SSSTS certification preferred.
10. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
11. Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme momentum.
