You will be responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive L&D strategy that supports care quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous professional development across multiple services. Key responsibilities include: Leading Learning & Development strategy across the organisation Identifying training needs in collaboration with Home Managers and senior leadership Designing and delivering training aligned with RQIA standards, legislation, and best practice Ensuring all statutory and mandatory training requirements are met Delivering engaging, high-quality training within care home and clinical settings Monitoring training compliance, records, and audit processes Evaluating training effectiveness and driving continuous improvement This role involves regular travel to care homes and requires someone comfortable working directly with frontline care and nursing teams. Essential Requirements This role will only suit candidates with relevant experience in health & social care training. Significant experience in Learning & Development within a care, nursing home, or healthcare setting Strong understanding of regulatory and statutory training requirements in health & social care Experience developing and delivering training to care staff and clinical teams Knowledge of RQIA standards and compliance frameworks Confident delivering both practical and classroom-based training Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to services Desirable: NMC registration or clinical background Experience in care home or elderly care settings This role is NOT suited to Corporate-only trainers L&D professionals without healthcare or regulated care experience If youre a healthcare-focused Learning & Development professional who wants to influence care standards at an organisational level, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role.
