MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Lead Maintenance Technician to manage the day to day running of the maintenance department at a busy gas storage facility based in Alton, Hampshire.
As an Lead Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Provide health & safety supervision during all maintenance tasks ensuring compliance with safety and welfare requirements
* Supervise and lead a team of technicians, ensuring job specifications are met and safe working practices are followed
* Monitor and manage departmental performance to maintain high efficiency and output standards
* Ensure the maintenance Management System is accurately and promptly updated; review daily to prioritise work orders
* Support reporting, planning, scheduling and execution of site work orders
* Coordinate and supervise both in-house and third party labour/services as required
* Identify opportunities for plant development
To be considered for this role you should have:
1. Relevant qualification in instrumentation (Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 minimum) with electrical knowledge
