What You’ll Be Doing
* Carrying out maintenance, repairs and examinations on rolling stock
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
* Undertaking component changes and heavy lifting activities where required
* Completing additional repairs identified during examinations
* Responding to failed units when required
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Supporting and mentoring new team members
* Working collaboratively to deliver fleet availability and performance targets
What We’re Looking For
* Apprenticeship served, engineering qualification, or transferable engineering experience
* Experience in fault finding, maintenance or repair activities
* Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork
* Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills
* Physically fit and able to meet engineering medical standards
* Able to obtain Personal Track Safety (PTS) and Depot Protection (DP Track) competence
