Position: Production Operative
Location: Moira
Work Arrangement: 42.5 Hours per week and a 30 minute unpaid break
Duration: Permanent
Pay Rate: £29,000 per annum

Responsibilities
* Ensure product manufactured is consistent and of high quality.
* Follow all applicable quality and food safety procedures, guidelines and policies including GMP's, cleaning schedules and CCP's.
* Observe all legal and quality process control policies and regulations.
* Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
* Accurately maintain company records and forms
* Report any defective materials, food safety concerns or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor.
* Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
* Complete all operator testing requirements specifically calibration, startup checks and CCP checks.
* Report equipment faults to maintenance staff.
* Clean and maintain work areas and machinery.
* Covers in the absence of the Production Supervisor
Essential Criteria
* Knowledge of Food Hygiene
* Ability to work as an effective team member including accepting supervision / assistance from other team members
* Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently
* Good communicator
Desirable
* HACCP, BRCGS
