We are seeking a proactive and organised Health & Safety Administrator to support our Health & Safety team in maintaining and improving our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems, policies, and procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Health & Safety, particularly in a fast-paced manufacturing (FMCG) environment.
Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety Administrator
1. Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety team, ensuring records, systems, and data are accurately maintained and monitored.
2. Support the development and continuous improvement of HSE systems, initiatives, and campaigns.
3. Assist in delivering employee training, including inductions, toolbox talks, and ELMO Safety Training.
4. Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging the reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and conditions.
5. Support initial preparation for accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
6. Maintain and update internal and corporate HSE systems, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis.
7. Conduct hazard spotting, eSBOs, and safety/environmental inspections in line with site KPIs and objectives.
8. Assist with contractor control processes, including maintaining databases and reviewing documentation.
9. Manage PPE stock levels and distribution across the site.
10. Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders where required.
11. Attend and take minutes for monthly Health & Safety Committee meetings.
12. Track and monitor action plans to ensure timely completion.
