Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and driving sales growth within the timber and wood products market.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, joinery, and furniture sectors.
* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
* Provide product knowledge and technical advice to clients.
* Prepare and deliver quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
* Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven experience in sales within the timber, wood products, or building materials industry.
* Strong understanding of MDF, chipboard, plywood, and related products.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
* Full UK driving license (field sales experience preferred).
