Role Overview
In this key B&M leadership role, you will lead the strategic omnichannel profit optimization across product areas, shaping and executing long-term strategies in collaboration with senior leadership to enhance trading performance and meet business needs.
You will leverage your product merchandising expertise to make bold, informed decisions, challenge risks and opportunities aligned with departmental and company-wide OTB, and develop insightful analysis to support strategic initiatives. Building strong cross-functional relationships, you will influence and inspire creative thinking across the organization.
The role requires you to be based at our High Wycombe HQ for 3-4 days per week, with up to 5 days during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure delivery of the annual MV budget and profitable achievement of all KPIs
* Understand and optimize trading in stores and online
* Prioritize profit in decision-making, seeking opportunities to maximize it
* Leverage insights on Mint Velvet’s customer base, market position, and competitors
* Maintain a strong KPI focus, driving the team towards targets
* Align departmental plans with the company's long-term strategy
* Continuously improve personal and team performance through development and coaching
* Lead and motivate a high-performing, efficient team, balancing self-awareness with team understanding
