Salary: £70,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in a regulated environment Strong Azure administration background (certifications highly desirable) Cloud networking, firewalls and security architecture Microsoft 365 Enterprise (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online) Windows Server administration Azure Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity VDI platforms (Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware ESX, Horizon) Backup technologies (Veeam Backup & Replication, Azure, Microsoft 365, Data Cloud Vault) Platform security, DLP and MFA Infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools Low-level cloud design and solution architecture Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills Demonstrable people management and team development experience Proactive, detail-driven and solutions-focused mindset Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Azure DevOps) (Desirable) Cloud security frameworks and policy definition (Desirable) SQL Server administration (Desirable) Working knowledge of AWS (Desirable) Experience with Pluralsight skills and sandbox environments (Desirable) Responsibilities: Lead the design, delivery and ongoing management of our cloud and hybrid infrastructure estate Plan, build, operate and manage cloud infrastructure services, primarily focusing on Azure Deploy, configure and administer Azure services Own Azure tenancy, security controls, DLP and MFA Produce Low Level Design (LLD) documentation for new solutions Migrate legacy on-premise systems to Azure Administer SQL infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments Conduct capacity planning, disaster recovery and Azure Site Recovery testing Manage storage lifecycle across Blob, Files, SharePoint, OneDrive Own backup strategy including monitoring, escalation, reporting and optimization Monitor infrastructure and integrate with security and operational platforms Maintain CMDB accuracy and infrastructure diagrams Support the Service Desk with complex incidents and escalations Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Change Management for secure changes Manage transitional physical and virtual server and networking platforms Produce operational and cost management information for senior stakeholders Lead, mentor and develop the infrastructure team, including performance management and objective setting Establish and maintain technical standards, policies and procedures Technologies: ARM AWS Azure Cloud CMDB DevOps Support Microsoft 365 SQL Security SharePoint Terraform VMware Veeam Windows Office 365 More: We are a highly respected financial services organization located in Epsom, Surrey.
