Information Governance Administration Apprentice
Starting salary of £24552 per annum (£12.71 per hour).
37 hours per week – 2 year fixed term contract
Based at Kings Court Council Offices, Kings Lynn
We have a proven track record of successfully training apprentices, through working with training providers, enabling apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and experience in a positive and supportive environment.
We now have a new opportunity for an apprentice to join our Information Governance team. This is your chance to experience and support a wide range of public sector services, undertaking an apprenticeship while gaining practical experience and developing skills in a clear, specific area.
As part of our Information Governance team, you will develop your understanding of how public sector organisations support transparency, enable people’s rights under Freedom of Information and Data Protection laws, and embed data safety through our best practice network and data incident investigations. You will also join at a time of change, with opportunities to help improve systems and processes, and bring in better data analysis.
You must have GCSEs at grades 4-9 / C or above in Maths and English to ensure entry. You will need good time management, including evidence of good attendance and punctuality, good attention to detail, and must be able to travel to your place of work and any training provider. You will have a keen interest in working in the public sector and some understanding of what local government does. We are keen to hear from candidates with strong interests in data analysis and systems improvement.
If you are self-motivated and are committed to developing a career by completing our apprenticeship programme we would love to hear from you.
