We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Recovery and Resolution Planning to join our Corporate Treasury team. This role is located in Manchester, U.K. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Develop and execute project plans for assigned topic areas or business/entity/functions, using accepted project management tools and methods. Establish project objectives, timelines, engage appropriate Bank resources, and ensure achievement of objectives in alignment with regulatory requirements. Conduct planning meetings and foster cooperation among stakeholders and their leaders. Compile submissions and data from project stakeholders on assigned work streams/topics. Assess applicability and responsiveness to requests/requirements, challenge input provided, and coach stakeholders to ensure fully responsive contributions. Guide activities related to areas of responsibility such as content updates, playbook refreshes, and supporting capability owners with test design and implementation adhering to standards and guidelines. Lead or support the determination of key plan elements, including but not limited to, core business lines, critical operations/functions, stress scenarios, recovery options, etc. Evaluate results, identify gaps, and draw conclusions to inform plan development. May develop techniques and methods for testing within areas of responsibility. Support and conduct the validation and testing of capabilities detailed across various plans, collaborating with various stakeholders including senior management. Provide leadership in recovery and resolution planning with assigned stakeholder groups, coaching and persuading leaders to adopt the recovery and resolution team’s perspective. May provide guidance to more junior team members and assign tasks as needed. This role has no direct reports. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, risk management, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is preferred. Experience in finance, risk management, or regulatory compliance within large financial organizations is preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
