The Role
:
1. Carry out both electrical and mechanical scheduled maintenance activities independently
2. Respond to breakdowns by identifying faults and restoring equipment to normal performance, quality, and waste targets
3. Identify and obtain required parts and materials from suppliers, coordinating orders through the technical admin process
4. Monitor and assess equipment performance regularly, spotting and addressing emerging issues early
5. Work with manuals, historical fault data, and root cause investigations alongside a cross-functional team to design preventative measures and improvement initiatives in line with TPM goals
6. Keep plant and machinery operating effectively through both preventative and breakdown maintenance
7. Make frequent use of digital platforms, such as Microsoft Office, CMMS systems, and HMI screens, for alarm interpretation, troubleshooting, and record keeping
