Superior Recruitment Group are working with an exciting client based in Reading who are looking for an EC&I Construction Manager to join their team until 23/12/2025.
This role is a contract position, and is outside of IR35.
Strong NEC Contract Management experience is required
Key responsibilities:
* Support the Project Manager as required, ensuring the project is managed effectively and efficiently
* Demonstrating Safety Leadership, delivering the programme safely, ensuring that all EHS&Q requirements are met
* Oversight / Assurance of project progress including timely and accurate reporting
* Build effective project teams and manage resources ensuring adequate levels to meet programme demands and high workforce productivity is maintained throughout
* Identify key project risks, blockers and opportunities and take action to address
* Assess programme of work for viability, priority and required resources to maximise the success of the programme
* Ensuring that suitable commercial control is in place and managed according to client procedures
* Managing the performance of key suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements are applied
* Ownership of the interrelationships across project schedules and taking actions to address risks
Skills & Experience
* Experience delivering projects in a highly regulated industry
* HNC/HND or similar in a relevant field (preferably electrical)
* Project Management qualification (preferred)
* Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance as a minimum
* Strong, demonstrable understanding of all phases of a project life cycle
