Do you have what it takes to work together with prisoners' families to help prisoners achieve better outcomes?
Role Overview
We have an exciting new role based in and around HM Prison to lead the development of a Families' Forum where prison staff, Pact staff, and families collaborate to create a family-friendly environment. The forum will value and hear the voice of families in reducing re-offending. This role is key to fostering a strong partnership approach and supporting families' engagement with regimes. It will also support our work to represent the voice of prisoners' families and facilitate a partnership approach for strategic change.
About You
We're looking for someone who is naturally great at connecting and communicating with people of all backgrounds. You'll be empathetic yet resilient, calm under pressure, organized, and flexible—ready to work hard to deliver outstanding results. You should have experience and/or knowledge of the criminal justice system, working in partnership with various agencies and families facing challenges. You will thrive whether working independently or in teams, with a deep understanding of professional boundaries, health and safety, and data security.
What Pact Offers
Pact offers a wide range of employee benefits, including free confidential advice and counselling, cycle-to-work scheme, life assurance, eye care vouchers, generous annual leave, and more. You will have opportunities for internal training to develop your support work skills, undergo a thorough induction process, and be supported by a friendly, enthusiastic team.
