Learning Support Assistant – Sixth Form College, Fareham Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-time, January – March (with potential extension) Salary: £13.90 – £15 per hour (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday Location: Fareham About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Sixth Form College in the Fareham area. This is a full-time position starting in January and running until the end of March initially, with the possibility of continuing further for the right candidate. You will be supporting students aged 16–19 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them access their courses and achieve their academic goals. The role also involves providing general classroom support and working closely with teaching staff to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment. This is a rewarding opportunity where your patience, communication skills, and supportive approach will make a real difference to young people preparing for their next steps in education or employment.
